Welcome to the monthly :O Conlang Award!

How it works:

Every month, by the end of the month, I will award the :O award (or Flabbergast award) to a conlang.

The rules

Cannot be mine
The conlang I award the Flabbergast to can't be a conlang I primarily create.
The conlang equals the conlanger
I give awards to conlangs, not the creators of those conlangs.
Has to be small
The conlang has to be indie (5 or less creators) and small (maximum popularity level is cult)
Has to be alive
The conlang has to be currently in development (sorry Volapük & Loglan)
Has to flabbergast
The conlang has to make. Me. Say. :O It can't just be an interesting conlang, it has to flabbergast me.

November 2024

November 2024: Akaká

Akaka is a language made by u/artorijos.
The nouns in Akaka are divided by masculine/feminine and animate/inanimate.
According to animacy, we can divide nouns into three categories: human, large or culturally important animals, and inanimates and smaller animal nouns. These three categories can be organized into human vs. non-human or animate vs. inanimate (which contains smaller animals).
Flabbergasting:
There are no true adjectives. Stative verbs are made into attributive words with the suffix -iabo/-iabe (which can go with other types of words to create other meanings). A handful of nouns can work as adjectives, for instance rẽso ('tree') for big/tall, and xie ('rock') for hard.
